Traditional Lippischer Pickert

10-15 Pickert. Enough for four to five people.

Procedure

  1. Put the yeast in a very big pot. Mix it with handwarm milk and with the grated potatoes. Put all the flour into the pot and the eggs too. Finally add salt and sugar. Now stir it until it is a homogenous mass.
  2. Bake the Pickerts on low heat with lots of oil. The Pickerts must be thick as a thumb.
